Miss Terry celebrates Iron Bowl win by singing Rammer Jammer on field
Miss Terry was all smiles after Alabama took down Auburn in the Iron Bowl on Saturday. The wife of Crimson Tide coach Nick Saban was caught on camera following the 27-24 victory singing along to “Rammer Jammer,” a chant Alabama fans pull out after big victories.
Miss Terry could be seen clapping and cheering before shouting out “Hey Auburn!” and putting her fist in the air. She the runs to embrace a Crimson Tide player as the crowd continues with the next part of the chant “We just beat the hell out of you!” You can view the moment below.
Miss Terry’s enthusiasm after the win is the perfect example of how most fans likely felt given the way things played out. Alabama found itself trailing 24-20 with under five minutes to go in the fourth quarter and had driven all the way down to the Auburn 7-yard line.
However, the next three plays resulted in a loss of 24 yards to push the Crimson Tide all the way back to the 31-yard line for fourth-and-goal. They needed a miracle to get out of that situation, and somehow got it when Jalen Milroe found Isaiah Bond in the back of the end zone.
Two plays later, Terrion Arnold sealed the win with an interception. Alabama survived another day to keep its hopes of playing in the College Football Playoff alive.
Having been married to Saban for more than 50 years, Miss Terry has taken in a number of Iron Bowls and other big rivalries throughout her life. She’s always there to offer support win or lose, but was clearly excited to see her husband’s tea come out on top this time.
She’ll continue to cheer on the Crimson Tide as they prepare to take on Georgia in the SEC Championship Game at 4 p.m. ET on Saturday in Atlanta.

Nick Saban compares he, Miss Terry’s relationship with Terrion Arnold to raising children
If a team is supposed to be like family, Alabama is succeeding. On Monday, head coach Nick Saban discussed he and his wife’s special bond with defensive back Terrion Arnold.
“Her and Terrion are really kind of buddies,” Saban said with a smile. “I know she sort of texts with him and all that. I kind of get on him. It’s just kind of like raising your children. I’m the guy that’s always trying to get them to do right, and she’s the momma who’s always trying to make them happy. That’s the way it’s been for a long time.”
The redshirt sophomore has a special connection with Saban’s wife, Terry, commonly known as Miss Terry. She will text him motivational messages before games and congratulations after the dust is settled.
He certainly made her proud again with his performance against Auburn this past week. In addition to the game-sealing interception in the fourth, Arnold also had another pick to close the first half to go along with three tackles.
