Nick Saban, Aflac release 'soothing sounds' commercial ahead of Iron Bowl matchup
Rivalry week can be stressful, especially when you are an Alabama fan. Going back to Jordan-Hare Stadium to play Auburn does not bring up a lot of good memories. Thankfully, Nick Saban is here to soothe you into relaxation but it’s not by winning a football game.
Saban once again partnered with Aflac to create a hilarious commercial. For just a few seconds, Saban was the host of an ASMR podcast, attempting to bring peace to everyone out there. Between important football games and spending time with family, Thanksgiving is a stressful time for people.
Maybe he has found his next hobby once he retires from being a college football head coach.
“Aflac is like a rolling tide of peace and comfort,” Saban said before opening up a Little Debby packet. There are wave noises being made in the background as well, resembling the relaxing feeling of being somewhere on the beach.

Saban has been partnering with Aflac for a while now, with plenty of commercials popping up on television screens during a college football Saturday. Colorado head coach Deion Sanders has been his partner throughout it all, even after the two exchanged words over NIL not too long ago.
Hopefully, the commercials keep on coming from Saban and Aflac. The new ideas continually lead to hilarious moments, such as Saban being a podcast host. All for a company just looking to sell some insurance to college football fans out there.

Nick Saban unlikely to remain calm during Iron Bowl
Saban may appear to be calm in the Aflac video but come Saturday afternoon, he is going to be anything but. Alabama has a ton of the line, holding a 10-1 record, and is in danger of once again missing the College Football Playoff with another loss. Nobody would love to effectively end the Crimson Tide’s season more than Auburn.
“You know, people talk about all the crazy stuff that happens in this game, but since I’ve been here, the team that should’ve won the game, won the game, based on who played the best,” Saban said about playing at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
“So I think the focus needs to be on how are we going to play and how are we going to execute and do what we do, and what kind of consistency are we going to be able to maintain in the difficult environment.”
