Many people were pegging Alabama freshman wide receiver Agiye Hall for a breakout season in 2021 after his incredible performance in the spring game. Alabama head coach Nick Saban fielded a question about Hall at his press conference and updated fans on his progress as a member of the Crimson Tide.

“We’d like to see Agiye become a part of the offense,” Saban said. “He’s got a lot of talent and a lot of ability. I think [he needs] consistency in performance and making good choices and decisions. On a day to day basis to do the right things. Whether it’s on the field, off the field, you know, in academics. Whatever it is. Because those things really prove dependability. And we try to get our guys to understand that dependability is really important in their life for them to be successful…”

Saban continued, “He’s getting better and better. He’s had some good weeks, so hopefully, he’ll be contributing sometime soon.”

In the Miami game, Hall had one catch for 10 yards against the ‘Canes.
