Que Robinson injury update: Report emerges regarding status of Alabama LB
Que Robinson will reportedly be unavailable for the remainder of the season for Alabama.
Per Matt Zenitz of CBS Sports and 247 Sports, Robinson, who suffered an upper-body injury against LSU on Saturday, will miss the rest of the year for the Crimson Tide. BamaOnline has since reported the same from sources as well.
Robinson was dealing with his left forearm upon his exit when he went to the medical tent on the sideline. He then went to the locker room with that arm in a sling with the broadcast describing it as “pretty severe”. Before his exit, he had put up two assisted tackles against the Tigers.
Robinson was in his fifth year with ‘Bama. He had made 43 appearances, on defense and on special teams, through his career there so far after this weekend’s game in Baton Rouge. However, this news would end his collegiate career with no eligibility remaining for him after this season.
Through nine games this season, Robinson had posted 23 tackles, four sacks, and a forced fumble with a fumble recovery. The sack total was tied for most on the team along with Jihaad Campbell.

Over the last three years in Tuscaloosa, Robinson had a total of 54 tackles and six sacks along with the fumble and recovery.
With this update, Alabama will have to consider other players at outside linebacker. Among them would potentially be names like Qua Russaw, Yhonzae Pierre, or Noah Carter along with Keanu Koht or Jayshawn Ross at the position as well.
This would be a notable loss from the defense of Alabama. It also isn’t the end that Robinson would have hoped for for his collegiate career with the Crimson Tide.
