Alabama unveils retro jerseys for Saturday's game vs. Texas A&M
Alabama has some time off in between games following Saturday’s win against LSU. Next time the Crimson Tide takes the court, it will be this weekend against Texas A&M. They will be doing so in style, with the program unveiling some new jerseys on Monday.
A retro look will be coming to Coleman Coliseum. Alabama will be in the home whites but have block lettering with “Crimson Tide” on there. Each player’s number will separate the two words as well.
However, the shorts might make fans the most excited, going back to an old-school logo. While the Script A has become iconic, the Block A with an elephant included will be on the right side of the shorts.
Alabama put out a video to show off the uniforms, with five players being included. Aaron Estrada, Rylan Griffen, Grant Nelson, Mark Sears, and Latrell Wrightsell had the opportunity to get in the new threads a bit early.
Coleman Coliseum even put on a light show for the occasion. You can check out the full uniform reveal here.
Student will have the opportunity to get their own retro jersey, with a giveaway taking place ahead of Saturday’s game. Alabama has enjoyed some nice home crowds in recent weeks and a switch-up in uniforms is a great way to fire up the fanbase.

Seven games remain on the schedule for Alabama and four of those will occur in Tuscaloosa. No opponent will be taken lightly though, with all but two projected to make the NCAA Tournament per On3’s James Fletcher.
Ole Miss was considered the first team out of the field and was idle over the weekend. Arkansas, who is Alabama’s season finale, has not met expectations this season and is well away from playing meaningful basketball in March.
Alabama may have time off but they should still have viewing interest across the league. Auburn and South Carolina — two teams competing for the title — will face off from Neville Arena on Valentine’s Day.
No love is lost between the two in-state rivals but an Auburn win would put Alabama in sole possession of first place, from a loss-column standpoint.
