4-star WR Ryan Wingo sets visit with Alabama
Saint Louis (Mo.) St. Louis University four-star wide receiver Ryan Wingo is visiting Alabama this weekend. He announced the news Tuesday afternoon on Twitter.
Wingo is the No. 30 overall prospect and No. 7 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 2 player in Missouri.
On3’s Chad Simmons reported in early February that Wingo would be visiting Tuscaloosa on March 4.
“I have never been there before, so I just want to see what it is like,” Wingo told Simmons. “It should be a good time and I look forward to spending time with the coaches.”
According to the On3 Recruiting Prediction Machine, Tennessee has a narrow lead over Notre Dame to land a commitment from Wingo.

They include 5-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe, five-star quarterback Julian Sayin, four-star wide receiver Perry Thompson and four-star linebacker Sterling Dixon.
Wingo will be one of multiple high-profile recruits in Tuscaloosa this weekend. Others include Washington (D.C.) Friendship Collegiate Academy five-star EDGE Dylan Stewart, the No. 1 overall prospect in the On300 and top-30 linebacker Justin Williams.
Ryan Wingo Scouting Summary
The following is an On3 Scouting Report on Ryan Wingo:
“An electric playmaker who picks up yards in a hurry. Ran a 10.64 100m, 21.46 200m and a 50.72 400m in 2022. The ability to defeat the angle with the ball in his hands is among the best in the 2024 cycle early on. Can take the top off of defenses with ease but is not just a straight line player.
