After recording the top class of the 2023 cycle, Alabama is continuing its success on the recruiting trail. The Crimson Tide’s 2024 class currently ranks No. 3 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 2 in the SEC.

Three of Alabama’s five pledges are top-30 recruits, and two of those players are five-stars. They are Carlsbad (Calif.) quarterback Julian Sayin and Pinson (Ala.) Clay-Chalkville five-star athlete Jaylen Mbakwe.

Sayin will be back in Tuscaloosa for a massive recruiting weekend that coincides with the Crimson Tide’s spring game on April 29. He was last at Alabama in late March.

“I definitely feel pretty strong about my commitment,” Sayin told Andrew Bone of BamaInsider on March 23. “It’s really just the overall consistency and how they run stuff from day-to-day. It’s all the attention to details. They want to be perfect on every rep. That’s what really sticks out to me.”

Raymore (Mo.) Raymore-Peculiar four-star tight end Jaden Reddell is another top-50 recruit who will at Bryant-Denny Stadium in a few days. Reddell, the No. 1 tight end in the 2024 On300, was at Alabama on March 4 and is returning for an official visit on the weekend of June 10.

Birmingham (Ala.) Parker four-star defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman will also be on hand for A-Day. He and Mbakwe are two of the top six players in Alabama. The Crimson Tide also have a commitment from Foley (Ala.) four-star wide receiver Perry Thompson, the No. 3 player in the state.

“He was telling me the things that he’s seen me do on film and that he liked it,” Beaman told Joseph Hastings of BamaInsider about his conversation with head coach Nick Saban last month. “He was telling me things I could’ve done better at, which there weren’t too many of those. Most of it was him just telling me how he wants me to fit in at the defense and how many people they’ll have at the position I play.”

Talented offensive lineman is also seeing Alabama this weekend

Alabama does not currently have any offensive linemen in its 2024 class. However, the Crimson Tide are currently recruiting some of the best in the country at those positions, including Bradenton (Fla.) IMG Academy four-star offensive tackle Jordan Seaton.

He included the Crimson Tide among his top 14 schools.

“I’m a winner,” Seaton told On3’s Chad Simmons on Nov. 29. “So I want to go to a winning program. I’m not so far as looking for a certain location because wherever’s best for me, as far as school-wise, facility-wise, coach-wise, that’s where I’m gonna choose.”

Meanwhile, some of the top players in the 2025 class will be hosted by Saban and his staff this weekend. Three of them are Charlotte (N.C.) Providence Day School five-star offensive tackle David Sanders, Saraland (Ala.) five-star wide receiver and Alabama commit Ryan Williams and Ellaville (Ga.) Schley County On3 five-star EDGE Zayden Walker.
