Traeshon Holden exits Texas A&M game with limp, enters injury tent
Alabama receiver Traeshon Holden suffered an injury that required him to have assistance off the field and into the injury tent on Saturday. Holden was seen severely limping as he was helped into the tent in the third quarter, and continued to limp heavily after exiting the tent later.
Holden appeared to suffer the injury during a fairly routine catch where he was wrestled to the ground by a defender. After the tackle Holden grabbed at his left leg near the hamstring, and video showed him limping heavily with assistance walking on the sideline afterwards.
“Yeah, he was actually shaken up after that play. He limped off the field, went over to the bench, needed help into the injury tent. He just came out of the injury tent but he has a pretty significant limp,” detailed CBS Sports‘ Jenny Dell.
The reception was Holden’s first of the game and went for a loss of five yards on the play. Despite his lack of a major impact on the field throughout the first three quarters, the Crimson Tide saw plenty of offensive output from Jalen Milroe as he threw three passing touchdowns by the time of Holden’s injury — leading to a 24-14 lead.

The Aggies continued to battle from there, and held Alabama to zero points for the remainder of the game. Trailing 24-17 in the fourth quarter with just over six minutes left in the game, Fisher made the call to go for it on fourth-and-two on the edge of field goal range. The Aggies picked up the first down and eventually brought their drive down to another fourth down opportunity in the red zone. A pair of false starts pushed them back and the Aggies took the field goal.
With the game on the line in the final minutes, Haynes King threw an interception in the end zone that was called back due to pass interference. With a fresh set of downs on the goal line, Texas A&M tried to deliver the game-winning touchdown — only to fall short and lose 24-20.
