Washington offensive line transfer Parker Brailsford commits to Alabama
Washington offensive lineman Parker Brailsford has committed to Alabama out of the NCAA transfer portal.
Brailsford was a 2023 second-team All-Pac-12 selection this fall after putting together a tremendous season. It was his first year seeing major action along the offensive line.
In addition to being named All-Pac-12, Brailsford was named a first-team Freshman All-American by the FWAA, AFCA, PFF, College Football News and College Football Network. He started all 15 games for the Huskies.
During the 2022 season, Brailsford’s first on campus, he was named the Washington coaches’ offensive scout of the week twice, still helping the team despite not seeing the field on Saturdays.
Brailsford is one of several Washington players who have entered the NCAA transfer portal recently likely considering Alabama as a potential next stop following the move of head coach Kalen DeBoer. Alabama has had plenty of transfers out of the program, as well, so there should be plenty of spots available.
As of the morning of Jan. 18, Alabama had had 26 players enter the NCAA transfer portal to date. Meanwhile, the Crimson Tide have taken only three transfers in so far.

There have been two interior offensive linemen to transfer out from the program, so Brailsford’s addition will help balance things out a little bit along the offensive line again.
All the changes should make for a thoroughly interesting 2024 campaign for the Crimson Tide, which is coming off a playoff appearance during the 2023 campaign. DeBoer will have his work cut out for him as the SEC expands to 16 teams to include Oklahoma and Texas.
Prior to enrolling at Washington, Parker Brailsford was a three-star prospect and the No. 501 overall recruit in the 2022 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rankings.
He also checked in as the No. 37 interior offensive lineman and the No. 6 overall player in the state of Arizona, hailing from Scottsdale (AZ) Saguaro.
