Former star receiver of the Alabama Crimson Tide Jameson Williams had his season come to a screeching halt midway through the national championship game after suffering an ACL injury. Since then, the speedy wideout has been working to get back to the field while preparing for the 2022 NFL draft. And for fans of NFL franchises hoping their team drafts him come April, Williams has released this video of his rehab process.

ESPN reporter Adam Schefter got ahold of footage from Williams rehab courtesy of Alliance Sports. In the video below, you can see the Alabama product working on his balance and hand-eye coordination.

Thatā€™s music to the ears of every NFL front office looking for the next star wide receiver. In recent seasons, wide receivers fresh out of college have come in and taken the league by storm ā€” LSUā€™s Jaā€™Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson are two prime examples.

Last season,Ā WilliamsĀ did just that in his first season at Alabama. His speed is a unique trait, and itā€™ll be coveted by NFL teams. When it comes to theĀ 2022 NFL Draft, itā€™ll be tough to pass on the skillsetĀ Jameson WilliamsĀ possesses.

Mel Kiper on Jameson Williams, unique skillset: ā€˜You certainly want that on your football team.ā€™

One staunch believer inĀ Jameson WilliamsĀ is ESPNā€™s NFL Draft GuruĀ Mel Kiper. Throughout the pre-draft process, Kiper has beenĀ ravingĀ about what an incredible value the electrifying playmaker is in this yearā€™s draft.

ā€œYouā€™re betting on a kid that had he stayed healthy, I thinkĀ AlabamaĀ wins that game againstĀ Georgia,ā€ KiperĀ said. ā€œIt was a shame he got hurt. Obviously fromĀ Alabamaā€™sĀ standpoint they move on to win a national title and for Jameson he would have been a guaranteedĀ top 10Ā pick. He took the top off the defense every week. And now he falls into the late first round. You talk about being a bargain. Yeah, I would wait it out forĀ Jameson Williams. That kind of speed. That electricity. The hands. The attitude. The warrior mentality he has.

ā€œYou certainly want that on your football team. Yeah, I would wait it out for a guy who would have been a top 10 pick, if Iā€™m in the late first round and heā€™s still on the board.ā€

As you can see, Mel KiperĀ believesĀ Jameson WilliamsĀ could be the biggest steal of theĀ 2022 NFL Draft. After watching the star wide receiver blossom at Alabama, itā€™s tough to bet against his potential.
