As Nick Saban ran onto the field to shake hands with Steve Sarkisian after Alabama eked out a 20-19 win against Texas, the FOX broadcast caught the Crimson Tide coach hollering at someone. After a self-destructive performance nearly cost his team, Saban did not hold back as he apparently saw some of his players giving the Horns downs.

An obviously-hot Saban did not hold back.

“Don’t do that sh*t!” Saban yelled.

Another shot from the postgame hoopla showed what Saban was mad about

As the Alabama players were leaving the field, they decided to have some fun with the home fans. They were seen flashing the ‘horns down’ while walking back to the locker room, with not too many people wearing burnt orange being happy.

Recent rule clarifications have made flashing the sign a personal foul and 15 yard penalty, but only under certain circumstances — something Saban only recently learned. With the clock expired, there was no way to directly penalize the Alabama players.

‘Horns down’ has been popular across college football when playing against Texas, mainly when the rivalry game against Oklahoma takes place. However, whenever you get a big win over the Longhorns at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium, there will always be a reason to celebrate. Especially when the matchup becomes a regular thing within the next few years.

Even so, there was always going to be some fun had between the two teams. Having so many connections between the two, whoever came out on top was going to be celebrating a little bit extra after the final whistle. Of course, it was Alabama and they got to showboat some at Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.

That doesn’t mean Saban didn’t have something to say about it that the TV cameras picked up. He’ll probably have a lot more to say to his team that the cameras won’t be privy to.
