In today’s game against Washington, Jacobs had 13 carries for 52 rushing yards and one touchdown (above). He’s been plagued by a number of nagging injuries during the 2021 season. Jacobs was recently on the Raiders injury report on Thursday after dealing with an ankle injury.

Coming into today’s game, Jacobs had rushed for 420 yards and six rushing touchdowns on 111 carries for the 2021 season. As a receiver, he’d also hauled in 30 catches for 198 receiving yards and no receiving touchdowns.

The Karate Kid touchdown celebration

The Karate Kid celebration is a popular touchdown celebration amongst Alabama football players, particularly current Alabama receivers John Metchie III and Jameson Williams.

Williams has been known for his Karate Kid celebrations during the 2021 season. Earlier in the season he explained to fans how it came up with it and he didn’t really have anything specific. “It was kind of the week of – and like I said, I don’t know why it was karate – it was just something we came up with.” Williams said after Alabama’s 42-21 win over Ole Miss. “But it’s just been going since then.”

It’s a great celebration that isn’t anything complicated and brings back great memories of one of the all-time classic movies in American culture, The Karate Kid.

It’s definitely one of the cooler touchdown celebrations developed in recent memory and it’s a great touch by Williams and the Alabama football fraternity.

On3’s James Fletcher III also contributed to this report.
