Will Anderson to participate in 'at least some' of 2023 NFL combine
The 2023 NFL Draft combine takes place this week, with all of the top prospects set to travel to Indianapolis for the annual event, where scouts all gather to watch hundreds of future pros test their bodies and skills in a variety of events. As is custom, some of the top players have decided not to participate, however that won’t be the case for one of the draft’s best defensive talents in Alabama’s Will Anderson.
According to NFL insider Tom Pelissero, Anderson will be going through a few of the combine drills this week. He reported that news to Twitter:

So Anderson will participate in the combine in some capacity but will likely not go through every single one of the drills. Pelissero, along with Ian Rapoport, also reported earlier in the day that Anderson’s Crimson Tide teammate, Bryce Young, will not participate in throwing drills at the combine.

“Ohio State QB C.J. Stroud will throw at this week’s NFL Scouting Combine, while Alabama QB Bryce Young will wait to do so for his pro day, sources tell me and Tom Pelissero,” Rapoport wrote on Twitter. “Young is long past his AC joint injury from this season, but he’ll just do interviews in Indy.”
So, Anderson to play but could be limited in what drills he participates in. Meanwhile, Young will throw the ball in front of scouts at some point, but will wait until the Alabama pro day rather than throwing at the combine. However, he’ll still be in Indianapolis to conduct interviews with
