Seattle O’Dea three-star cornerback Kyan McDonald has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils.

McDonald is the nation’s No. 939 overall prospect and No. 93 cornerback in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 12 recruit in Washington.

O’Dea teammate Jason Brown headlines the Sun Devils’ class as the lone blue-chip recruit committed to Arizona State. He pledged to the Sun Devils on December 5 and signed during the Early Signing Period.

“Early on, in the spring, Michigan State had the buzz. After the firing of Mel Tucker, Oregon and Washington became the schools to watch. Oregon faded some in recent weeks and Washington was viewed as the favorite. A decision has taken a little longer than expected and that opened the door for Arizona State,” On3’s Chad Simmons wrote about Brown’s recruitment on Nov. 29.

Arizona State currently ranks No. 52 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
