Long Beach (Calif.) Los Alamitos three-star interior offensive lineman Maki Stewart has committed to Arizona State, he announced on Thursday.

He chose the Sun Devils while also holding offers from the likes of Oklahoma, Florida State, USC and others.

Stewart is the No. 630 overall prospect and No. 53 IOL in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 50 player in California.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pounder becomes the 12th commitment for Kenny Dillingham and Co. in the 2025 class. The Sun Devils’ pledge list now checks in at No. 25 in the nation and No. 2 in the Big 12, according to the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.

Sun Devils rolling after big April

Last month, Seven prospects committed to Dillingham and the Sun Devils. April was capped off via the addition of Orange (Calif.) Lutheran four-star tight end AJ Ia, the No. 119 overall prospect and No. 4 TE in the 2025 On300.

Ia became the third four-star to join the Sun Devils’ 2025 class, flanking Pflugerville (Texas) four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson and Phoenix Mountain Pointe four-star safety Rylon Dillard-Allen.

Wilson also headlines, as the former TCU and Oregon commit is the No. 158 overall recruit and No. 17 WR in the 2025 cycle. He committed on April 19 after taking his official visit to Tempe.

“I definitely like that they have a lot of NFL coaches on their staff now,” Wilson told On3 ahead of his commitment. “They have a really young staff, with coach Kenny Dillingham only being in his 30s. That’s something I really like and then, they’re really going to get after it on the field. They have a new scheme for offense that I’ve seen and they’re going to throw the ball.”

Dillard-Allen is another prospect that On3 is higher on than the industry, as he is a top-300 recruit and top-25 safety in the On300. He is one of a whopping five listed safeties in the class, as of April 30.

Scottsdale (Ariz.) Saguaro three-star athlete Dajon Hinton committed to ASU over the weekend. Other additions this month include Ia’s Orange Lutheran teammate, three-star safety Benjamin Alefaio and Texas City (Texas) three-star safety Xavier Skowron.

The oldest pledge in the class is San Juan Capistrano (Calif.) J Serra Catholic three-star quarterback Michael Tollefson. He committed last June and is currently the No. 38 signal-caller in the 2025 cycle.
