4-star WR Adrian Wilson commits to Arizona State Sun Devils

Pflugerville (Texas) Weiss four-star wide receiver Adrian Wilson has committed to the Arizona State Sun Devils.
Wilson had been committed to Oregon since July 30 before decommitting on March 26.
“They just got Hines Ward as their receivers coach, so that’s pretty huge,” Wilson told On3 this week.
He went on to say more about the Sun Devils:
“I definitely like that they have a lot of NFL coaches on their staff now. They have a really young staff, with coach Kenny Dillingham only being in his 30s. That’s something I really like and then, they’re really going to get after it on the field. They have a new scheme for offense that I’ve seen and they’re going to throw the ball.”

Relationships were key in Wilson’s decision.
“It is definitely relationships,” Wilson said. “I don’t want to go to a school where it doesn’t feel like a home away from home or a family away from my family. I would like the school to be somewhere where I feel like, ‘This is home and this is family,’ until I go back to my mom and dad.”
Wilson is the nation’s No. 158 overall prospect, No. 17 wide receiver and No. 26 recruit from Texas in the 2025 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
