Arizona State EDGE J'Mond Tapp entering NCAA Transfer Portal

Arizona State Sun Devils EDGE J’Mond Tapp is entering the NCAA Transfer Portal, he announced via social media on Friday.
Tapp is a former Texas Longhorns transfer, as well. He wrote a heartfelt letter to fans of Arizona State in announcing he’s entering the portal. It’s evident he enjoyed his time with the Sun Devils, but he believes it’s best he moves on with his collegiate career.
“Dear Sun Devil Nation,” Tapp started. “First off, I would like to thank God for everything, especially for blessing me with the talent and ability to play the sport I love. I’m grateful for Coach Dillingham and the Arizona State Football coaching staff for the opportunity and experience here at ASU. I genuinely appreciate the ASU football program for everything, and it truly was an honor to be a part of Arizona State Football. Thank you for embracing me since day one.
“I would also like to thank my family and supporters for being with me on my journey. With that being said, I’ve decided to enter my name in the transfer portal with 2 years of eligibility remaining.”
