Arizona State linebacker Rodney Groce leaving program

Arizona State linebacker Rodney Groce, a former Mississippi State transfer who joined the Sun Devils earlier this offseason, has entered the transfer portal, On3 has learned.

Groce, a former three-star recruit, was part of Mississippi State’s 2020 signing class.

The Alabama native is the ninth Arizona State player to enter the portal since April 21. One, defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott, has since withdrawn from the portal and returned to the program.
