Arizona State is the latest team to join the fray for Dallas South Oak Cliff four-star cornerback Malik Muhammad.

The Sun Devils extended an offer to Muhammad on Tuesday, and the 2023 prospect announced the news on Twitter.

Malik Muhammad is the No. 38 overall player in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

On3 rates as a borderline five-star prospect at No. 15 overall in the 2023 On300 ranking. He is On3’s second-best cornerback in the class behind Lakeland (Fla.) Lake Gibson Five-Star Plus+ prospect Cormani McClain.

The elite talent has overs from over 30 schools, but Notre Dame seems to be leading the pack at this moment.

Muhammad was a key contributor for Dallas South Oak Cliff this season. The school became the first Dallas Independent School District team to win the Texas state championship since 1958.

Arizona State also offered Muhammad’s teammate Brandon Jones on Tuesday. Jones is a linebacker in the class of 2024.
