Arizona State senior guard Desmond Cambridge, Jr. delivered the dagger of a lifetime on Saturday against the Sun Devils’ bitter rivals, the Arizona Wildcats. With his team trailing by two points, 88-86, Cambridge launched an absolute prayer from about 60-feet, from the Lute Olsen signature spot on the court, just beyond half court.

The shot sailed through the air and into the net, nothing but net, delivering a stunning upset of the No. 7 ranked Wildcats. Check it out below.

Not only did the miraculous shot lift the Sun Devils to their 20th win of the season, but since they won their 20th game, Arizona State head coach Bobby Hurley got a $25,000 bonus, according to Steve Berkowitz. Hurley has been known to have a mercurial temper and has gotten his fair share of technical fouls over the years, but he’s done a good job with Sun Devils this season.

Arizona State had five players score in double digits in the upset victory: Desmond Cambridge, Jr. (19 points), D.J. Horne (18 points), Jamiya Neal (12 points), Alonzo Gaffney (10 points), and Warren Washington (16 points).
