2024 athlete Kayo Patu decommits from Arizona
Sacramento (Calif.) Capital Christian three-star athlete Kayo Patu has announced that he has decommitted from the Arizona Wildcats.
Patu originally committed to the Wildcats on June 19.
“Due to unforeseeable circumstances, I am decommitting from the University of Arizona,” Patu wrote on social media. “My recruitment is now fully open. Thank you to coach Fisch, coach Richardson and Josh Omura.”
Patu is the nation’s No. 1,115 overall prospect in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the cycle’s No. 43 athlete and No. 75 recruit from California.
He does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
