2024 athlete Rahim Wright commits to Arizona Wildcats
Rancho Cucamonga (Calif.) three-star athlete Rahim Wright has committed to the Arizona Wildcats.
Wright is the nation’s No. 1443 overall prospect and No. 77 athlete in the 2024 cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking — a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 110 player in California.
The 6-foot-0, 174-pound Wright does not currently have a publicly listed On3 NIL Valuation. The On3 NIL Valuation is the industry’s leading index that sets high school and college athletes’ projected annual value (PAV). The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
Arizona adds to solid class
Arizona’s recruiting class currently ranks No. 45 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. Tucson (Ariz.) Salpointe Catholic five-star EDGE Elijah Rushing headlines the class as one of three blue-chip prospects pledged to the Wildcats. He’s joined by Long Beach (Calif.) Jordan four-star running back Jordan Washington and Chandler (Ariz.) Basha four-star quarterback Demond Williams Jr.

“It’s different from the past few years,” Rushing told On3’s Chad Simmons in May. “They’re starting to make the right decisions and they’re moving up. I know they’re going in the right direction. That’s what I can see. They’re going in the right direction with the right coaches there that can really bring the program out of wherever it was at before.”
Rushing is the nation’s No. 31 overall prospect and No. 5 edge rusher in the On3 Industry Ranking. Arizona is one of 15 schools to have received a commitment from a five-star prospect.
