2025 TE Kellan Ford commits to Arizona Wildcats
Danville (Calif.) Monte Vista three-star tight end Kellan Ford has committed to Arizona, he announced on Sunday evening.
He chose the Wildcats over the likes of Cal, Washington, Boston College and others.
Ford is the No. 706 overall prospect and No. 42 TE in the 2025 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He’s also the No. 51 player in California.
The 6-foot-5, 220-pounder is now the lone pledge in the mix for Brent Brennan and the Wildcats in Tucson. Arizona lost a commitment from Roswell (Ga.) Blessed Trinity Catholic wide receiver Bryce Lewis at the end of March.
More on Arizona Recruiting
Arizona recruiting was a casualty via the coaching carousel that ensued following the retirement of legendary Alabama head coach Nick Saban. The Crimson Tide opted to hire Washington skipper Kalen DeBoer, which led to the Huskies pulling Arizona HC Jedd Fisch to Seattle.

Many Arizona commits and signees followed Fisch or decided to look elsewhere. The Wildcats hired Brennan from San Jose State, and in the end, signed 13 prospects in the 2024 cycle.
Scottsdale (Ariz.) Desert Mountain three-star athlete Dylan Tapley and Pasadena (Calif.) John Muir three-star linebacker Turran Williams are the lone top-1000 recruits in the On3 Industry Ranking that signed with the program.
Prospects from Arizona and California make up all but one of the signees in the class — which fell to No. 95 in the On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings, which was next-to-last among the Power Four programs, besting just SMU.
