Glendale (Ariz.) Dream City Christian 2024 four-star center Emmanuel Stephen has committed to Arizona.

The 7-foot, 215-pound big man chose the Wildcats over a final group of Kansas, Miami, Michigan, and USC.

“I chose Arizona because it is close to home,” Stephen said to On3. “Tommy Lloyd has a lot of international players so I’m excited to get there. They’ve been recruiting me for the longest and I really like the school. The fans are amazing.”

In his own words, what type of player is Arizona getting in Stephen?

“My game is very productive. I block shots and I’m trying to improve my offensive game and get better.”

Stephen Scouting Report

“Emmanuel Stephen is a paint protector. He has long arms and broad shoulders. He also move very effectively both laterally and vertically. Stephen plays with a mean streak around the basket. He is a very good area rebounder and can go outside of his area to secure possessions. He has excellent instincts on defense. Can block shots with both hands. Solid moving his feet. Will need to continue fine-tuning his angles and foot work. Offensively, he plays out of the dunker spots and toward the rim. He has comfort over his left shoulder. Hands are solid above his chest. Needs to continue working on a go-to and counters on the block. An enforcer around the basket, has no problem being the tough guy.” – On3’s Jamie Shaw
