Arizona offers two offensive lineman from the same Utah high school
Arizona offered scholarships on Thursday to Salt Lake City Brighton teammates Tyler Knaak and Jacob Reece.
Knaak and Reece are both offensive lineman, and Reece is currently committed to Utah State.
For Salt Lake City Brighton, the 6-foot-6 Reece starts at left tackle and the 6-foot-7 Knaak starts at the other tackle spot.
Tyler Knaak has been on fire the last three weeks
Tyler Knaak entered his senior year without a Division I offer to play college football.
That has changed quickly.
He received his first offer from Weber State on Sept. 10 and his first FBS and Power Five offer two days later from Kansas.
Knaak has since received offers from Arizona State, Harvard, Liberty and Nevada.
Reece had committed to Utah State on July 5. He had chosen the Aggies over Idaho State.
He had also gone on an unofficial visit to BYU and received interest from Cal. This is his first offer from a Power Five program.
The two have helped Salt Lake City Brighton to a 5-2 record. The offense averages 280.0 passing yards and 134.7 rushing yards per game.

Arizona has a solid recruiting class
The Wildcats had one of the worst recruiting classes among Power Five programs last cycle.
In Jedd Fisch’s first full cycle as head coach, he has class that currently ranks among the top 40 in the country.
It may not be flashy but marks a solid improvement for a program that has not won a football game since Oct. 5, 2019.
The class has two commits in the 2022 On300: Anaheim (Calif.) Servite tight end Keyan Burnett and Concord (Calif.) De La Salle safety Zeke Berry.
Tyler Knaak and Jacob Reece won’t be prospects of that level if they join the Arizona class. But they could end up being key contributors on the Wildcats offensive line someday.
