3-star CB Emmanuel Karnley commits to Arizona
Walnut Creek (Calif.) Pittsburg three-star cornerback Emmanuel Karnley announced his commitment to Arizona on Friday. He chose the Wildcats over multiple programs, including Boston College, Utah and Washington.
Karnley is the No. 763 overall prospect and No. 76 cornerback in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 65 player in California.
Following Karnley’s commitment, Arizona has 19 players in its 2023 recruiting class. Karnley is one of three cornerbacks pledged to head coach Jedd Fisch and his staff alongside Plano (Texas) Prestonwood Christian three-star Carter Stoutmire and Midland (Texas) Lee three-star Canyon Moses.
The Wildcats’ group currently ranks No. 50 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 8 in the Pac-12. Arizona’s class is led by Colorado Springs (Colo.) Vista Ridge four-star quarterback Brayden Dorman, the No. 337 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.

Earlier today, Simi Valley (Calif.) three-star wide receiver Sean Brown flipped from the Wildcats to Michigan State. He was previously pledged to Arizona since June 20.
Karnley has an On3 NIL Valuation of $5.8K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
