3-star WR Malachi Riley commits to Arizona
Moreno Valley (Calif.) Centennial three-star wide receiver Malachi Riley announced his commitment to Arizona on Friday night. He chose the Wildcats over multiple programs, including Georgia, Texas A&M and UCLA.
Riley is the No. 772 overall prospect and No. 113 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 66 player in California.
A 6-foot-0, 160-pound wideout, Riley is Arizona’s second commitment of the day. Walnut Creek (Calif.) Pittsburg three-star cornerback Emmanuel Karnley chose the Wildcats roughly four hours earlier.
Following Riley’s commitment, Arizona has 20 players in its 2023 recruiting class. Riley is one of two wide receivers pledged to head coach Jedd Fisch and his staff alongside Mission Viejo (Calif.) Mission Viejo three-star Jackson Holman.
