Pac 12 prediction logged for 4-star quarterback Brayden Dorman
About two months after announcing his top five schools, Colorado Springs (Colo.) Vista Ridge quarterback Brayden Dorman will make his college decision next week.
The 6-foot-4, 195-pound four-star quarterback ranks as the No. 266 player in the country, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Dorman also ranks as the No. 12 quarterback and top overall recruit in Colorado, according to the On3 Consensus.
On3’s Jeremy Crabtree has logged a prediction for a Pac 12 school. He breaks down why he made the call for the coveted quarterback.
4-star quarterback Brayden Dorman
On3 Consensus: No. 266
On3 NIL Valuation: $20K
On3 RPM: Arizona 77.9%, Colorado 3.7%, Oregon State 1.3%, Mississippi State 1.3%, Iowa State 1.3%, California < 1%
The Prediction: Arizona 65%
The Skinny: We’ve known for a while that Brayden Dorman was going to make a February decision. But a new offer from Cal on Jan. 31 gave him a little bit of a pause. However, after further research and examining his options, Dorman will go ahead and make his commitment public on Feb. 22.
That’s great news for the Arizona Wildcats.
Arizona was the last school to host Brayden Dorman on an unofficial visit in late January. He left Tucson talking about the bond he’s built with UofA coach Jedd Fisch and quarterbacks coach Jimmy Dougherty.

“Arizona being that last school that I needed to see, it definitely opened up my eyes a lot with what all these schools bring to the table,” he told Rivals.com after his trip to Arizona. “It’s going to really be a difficult decision when it comes to an end. I can only choose one school. With me visiting Arizona this weekend, it definitely opened up a lot of things for me.”
Dorman previously released a top five that included Arizona, Oregon State, Colorado, Mississippi State and Iowa State. But intel says Colorado was replaced by Cal on that list after the Bears offered.
Yet, he wasn’t able to make it to Berkeley before the start of the dead period. That boosts the projection for the Wildcats even more in my opinion.
