3-star WR Trech Kekahuna commits to Arizona
Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman three-star wide receiver Trech Kekahuna announced his commitment to Arizona on Saturday. He chose the Wildcats over Arizona State, Oregon and Wisconsin.
Kekahuna is the No. 739 overall prospect and No. 106 wide receiver in the 2023 cycle, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 6 player in Nevada.
The 5-foot-10, 180-pound wideout is Arizona’s third commit in the last two days. The others are Moreno Valley (Calif.) Centennial three-star wide receiver Malachi Riley and Walnut Creek (Calif.) Pittsburg three-star cornerback Emmanuel Karnley.
Following Kekahuna’s pledge, Arizona has 21 players in its 2023 recruiting class. Riley is one of three wide receivers pledged to head coach Jedd Fisch and his staff alongside Riley and Mission Viejo (Calif.) Mission Viejo three-star Jackson Holman.

The Wildcats’ 2023 group currently ranks No. 47 in the 2023 On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Rankings and No. 7 in the Pac-12. Arizona’s class is led by Colorado Springs (Colo.) Vista Ridge four-star quarterback Brayden Dorman, the No. 337 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus.
Kekahuna took one visit to Tucson. It was an official on the weekend of Dec. 3.
The three-star has an On3 NIL Valuation of $6.1K. The On3 NIL Valuation is an index that looks to set the standard market value for both high school and college-level athletes. The NIL valuation does not act as a tracker of the value of NIL deals an athlete has completed to date. It rather signifies an athlete’s value at a certain moment in time.
