WATCH: Arizona commit Rayshon Luke dashes past entire defense for TD
Rayshon Luke told NBC during the All-American Bowl that he hopes to run a 10-flat in the 100 meters this spring.
If his second-quarter touchdown run is any indication, the four-star running back out of Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco is definitely on his way to reaching that goal.
Just minutes after announcing during the game that he committed to Arizona, Luke took a handoff out of the shotgun and sprinted 64 yards down the field for an impressive touchdown run.
Luke also had a touchdown catch in the first hall of the All-American Bowl.
“Rayshon is a do-it-all playmaker,” Bellflower (Calif.) St. John Bosco head coach Jason Negro told On3. “In my 12 years as head coach at St. John Bosco, he is one of the most dynamic playmakers I have coached.”

The On3 Consensus – a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies – has Luke as the No. 275 overall player in the 2022 cycle and No. 23 player from the state of California.
He committed to Wildcats over Louisville, San Jose State and UCLA.
“The offense is amazing. It’s balanced. Run the ball, throw the ball,” Luke told On3’s Joseph Hastings. “I don’t want too much running or too much passing. Plus, I’m trying to do running back and slot, so it will work in my favor to do both.”
Luke joins an Arizona recruiting class that — despite an 1-11 record this past fall — ranks No. 30 in the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking. In addition to Luke, the Wildcats also have commitments from dynamic Anaheim (Calif.) Servite teammates in four-star wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan and four-star tight end Keyan Burnett.
