2024 IOL Kai Greer commits to Arkansas Razorbacks
Waxhaw (N.C.) Marvin Ridge three-star interior offensive lineman Kai Greer has committed to Arkansas. He chose the Razorbacks just hours after decommitting from Stanford — which he was pledged to since June 13.
Greer is the No. 536 overall prospect and No. 44 IOL in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 17 player in North Carolina.
“I’d like to thank my family, Coach Leggett and Coach Carter for believing in me and helping me reach my goals,” Greer wrote.
The 6-foot-6, 285-pounder has taken a pair of trips to Fayetteville, including an official visit on June 23. Offensive line coach Cody Kennedy led the Razorbacks’ recruitment. Penn State, Kentucky and Ole Miss were among others that were originally courting Greer.

Mills four-star defensive lineman Charleston Collins.

Arkansas’ class is No. 11 in the SEC, ahead of Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Kentucky, Missouri and Vanderbilt. While still in the bottom half of the conference, the Hogs are on track to improve from last cycle’s class that finished No. 25.
Greer is the third offensive lineman to join Arkansas’ pledge list, alongside Lexington (Ky.) Frederick Douglass three-star offensive tackle Zuri Madison and Fort Smith (Ark.) Southside three-star IOL Kobe Branham. Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point four-star wide receiver Ashton Bethel-Roman, Pine Bluff (Ark.) four-star athlete Courtney Crutchfield and Leeds (Ala.) four-star DL Kavion Henderson help bolster the class as top-200 prospects.
Arkansas’ class is chock-full of linebackers, as four help fill out the middle of the pledge list: Batesville (Miss.) South Panola four-star Julius Pope, Marietta (Ga.) Kell three-star Justin Logan, Decatur (Ga.) Columbia three-star Jadan Baugh and Searcy (Ark.) Harding Academy three-star Wyatt Simmons.
Simmons, the No. 6 player in the Natural State, was named one of “22 unheralded recruits college staffers are high on,” with an anonymous Power 5 staffer saying he had a “Good IQ. Decent athleticism and will be a Bumper Pool type player in my opinion on the low end.”
