3-star LB Justin Logan commits to Arkansas: 'I love the culture'
Marietta (Ga.) Kell three-star linebacker Justin Logan has found his next home. Logan has committed to Arkansas.
Logan chose the Razorbacks over nearly 40 college offers. He became Arkansas’ 17th commitment in the class of 2024. Logan is the third linebacker committed to the Razorbacks.
He made his way to Fayetteville for the first time last weekend.
Arkansas’ summer closing event moved the needle a lot for Logan. He felt as if he were among family members during the visit. That feeling went a long way in selling Logan on the SEC West program.
“The vibe when I was visited was very family like and the stuff they had us do felt like I was at one of my family BBQs,” Logan told On3.
Arkansas’ coaching staff made Logan feel at home immediately.
“The love and hospitality that they showed me and my family as soon as we got on campus was amazing,” Logan said.
Logan knew he wanted to commit as soon as he stepped on campus last weekend.
“I knew as soon as I got on campus and took a facility tour and they showed us every single room in the whole building,” Logan said.
Arkansas didn’t only wow Logan on the visit. He had been building a relationship with defensive coordinator Travis Williams for months. That bond got Logan on campus and intrigued in the Razorbacks.
“The relationship that me and coach Travis Williams built definitely played a big part in my decision,” Logan said.

Justin Logan high on Arkansas’ culture and direction
Arkansas’ culture is family oriented and led by the players. Logan was a fan of that dynamic. He feels players leading players is a key ingredient for success in any program at any level.
“I love the culture over there, I feel like it is player led and the best football teams are player-led,” Logan said.
Logan has high hopes for the direction that head coach Sam Pittman and his staff are taking the Arkansas program. The Razorbacks have been bowl eligible the last two years under Pittman.
They have won a total of 16 games in the last two years. Logan believes in the talent accumulating in Fayetteville. Arkansas has recruited the state of Georgia heavily in recent years.
“I feel like with all the recruits we are bringing in we are capable of being able to continue to compete on a very high level in the SEC,” Logan said.
