The 6-foot-1, 225-pound Russell is the No. 250 overall prospect in the 2024 class, according to the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He ranks as the nation’s No. 18 running back and the No. 2 junior recruit in the state of Arkansas.

He chose the Razorbacks in November 2021 over offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee and Arkansas State. He was the only commitment thus far in Arkansas’ 2024 class.
