4-star Isaiah Sategna flips to hometown Arkansas from Oregon
Isaiah Sategna may be one of the best sprinters in the country. But he is in no rush to leave his hometown of Fayetteville, Ark.
The four-star wide receiver from Fayetteville (Ark.) High flipped to hometown Arkansas on Wednesday night, flipping from Oregon in the process.
“After talking to my family, we have decided that it is in my best interest to decommit and go to a school closer to home,” Sategna tweeted. “I want to thank the University of Arkansas for believing in my talents and being the first school to offer me during my sophomore season. With that being said, I have decided to commit to the University of Arkansas and be a hometown hog.”
Sategna becomes the top commit in the 2022 Razorbacks recruiting class. He is the No. 180 overall prospect in the On3 Consensus, a complete and equally weighted industry-generated average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is the No. 149 player in the 2022 On300.
Sategna’s decommit drops Oregon from the top-10 of the On3 Consensus Team Recruiting Ranking to No. 11, while Arkansas jumps inside the top 20 at No. 19.
The flip is also a major win for the Razorbacks track and field program. Sategna is a 10-time Arkansas state champion and was the 2019-20 Gatorade Arkansas Boys Track and Field Athlete of the Year as a sophomore.

Isaiah Sategna is the second Oregon decommitment in November
Saregna is the second wide receiver to decommit from the Ducks this week.
Katy (Tex.) four-star wide receiver Nicholas Anderson, who is also ranked inside the top 200 of the On3 Consensus, left Oregon for Oklahoma on Monday.
“I want to express my sincere gratitude to Oregon Football and the entire fan base for their treatment of me and my family throughout my recruitment process,” Anderson wrote. “Particularly Coach Cristobal and Coach McClendon. That being said, after speaking with the staff personally, I have made them aware of my decision to de-commit from Oregon. I wish them the very best moving forward.”
The Ducks still have a commitment from Anaheim (Calif.) Servite four-star wideout Tetairoa McMillan, the No. 56 overall recruit in the country. But Arizona is making a push for McMillan. The Wildcats have commits from three of McMillan’s high school teammates, including four-star tight end Keyan Burnett and three-star quarterback Noah Fifita.
Other than McMillan, Oregon’s only other wideout commit is Lancaster (Texas) four-star Stephon Johnson.
