Aside from its narrow loss to Alabama on Feb. 12, Arkansas is on a row heading down the stretch of the season. Coming into Tuesday night’s game on the road at Florida with 12 wins in their last 13 outings, the Razorbacks again took care of business – putting together a strong performance in a 82-74 win over the Gators in Gainesville to improve to 22-6 overall with a 11-4 mark in SEC play.

Currently ranked No. 18 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 poll, Arkansas accomplished a longstanding goal on Tuesday: winning a game at Florida. While it had been 27 years since the Razorbacks’ last victory in Gainesville, they were able to get the monkey off their backs and snapped a 14-game losing streak on the Gators’ home court.

Following Arkansas’ win, head coach Eric Musselman met with the media for his postgame press conference and shared his thoughts on the Razorbacks snapping their road losing streak to Florida – and discussed the overall performance out of his squad.

“We talked about it after the game,” Musselman said of snapping the streak. “We didn’t really talk about it before the game. But none of us were here – it’s a different team. Right now, we’re a really confident team on the road. … I can’t that everybody can see that. We got on the plane with the thought process of winning this game and not being satisfied with how we’ve played. When a team wins at this pace, you’ve got a group that’s not satisfied and a group that’s hungry and wants to continue to get better.

“I don’t think we played that great in the first half, but certainly in the second half. We did outscore them by three in the first half, by five in the second half, scored 82 points. … The most impressive thing is just six turnovers against a team that really turns people over and is aggressive defensively. Proud of the fact that we outrebounded, great job of taking care of the basketball on the road, as well.”

Now riding a three-game winning streak, Arkansas returns to action Saturday in a marquee SEC contest against No. 6 ranked Kentucky at Bud Walton Arena in Fayetteville. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. ET on CBS.
