Arkansas EDGE Jordan Domineck announces plans to return for another season
Arkansas Razorbacks edge rusher Jordan Domineck announced his plans for the 2023 season on Thursday with a cheeky gif of Arnold Schwarzenegger saying, “I’ll be back.”
Although the powerful, 6-foot-3 defensive lineman has scouts’ eyes on him, he’ll forgo the 2023 NFL Draft in favor of another year with Sam Pittman on the hill.
The Lakeland, Florida native transferred to Arkansas as a graduate but he still has one more year of eligibility left after 2022. He is choosing to use it with the Hogs instead of jumping into the draft waters.
This season for the Hogs, Domineck had 31 total tackles with 16 solo and 6.5 sacks. Although he trailed linebacker Drew Sanders‘ total of 9.5 sacks, he led in sack yardage with 46. He also forced two fumbles, recovering one.
In his previous two seasons at Georgia Tech, Domineck had 73 tackles, 14 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Since 2018, he’s tallied 134 tackles, 15.5 sacks and six forced fumbles.

Coming out of George W. Jenkins High School, Domineck was a three-star prospect. He wasn’t even in the list of top 100 recruits coming out of the Sunshine State in the 2018 class, according to the On3 Consensus, but he turned himself into an invaluable piece of two Power Five defenses.
FCS transfer sets visit to Arkansas
The FCS transfer window opened over Thanksgiving weekend, and Texas A&M-Commerce star wide receiver Andrew Armstrong is already scheduling visits. Now, he’s announced he’ll be headed to Fayetteville for an official visit with the Arkansas Razorbacks on Dec. 9 through the 11th.
After a 2021 season that saw him only haul in 15 receptions, Armstrong burst onto the scene in 2022. He had 62 catches for 1,020 yards and 13 touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore. He has Division I size, standing at 6-foot-6 and weighing 190-pounds. Armstrong could be a lethal deep threat to whichever team lands his services.
Arkansas won’t be the only SEC school Armstrong will be visiting. He’s already announced that he’ll be visiting Missouri.
