Arkansas forward Trevon Brazile suffered a scary looking injury Tuesday night against UNC-Greensboro. While driving to the basket, Brazile landed awkwardly and immediately fell to the floor and could be seen grabbing for his right knee.

The sophomore had to be helped off the court by a pair of Razorbacks trainers and taken back to the locker room. He was not able to put any weight on his injured leg.

At the time of his exit, Brazile had totaled two rebounds and two blocks in the game. The Razorbacks got off to a slow start to the game and trailed 26-21 at halftime.

At the start of the second half, Trevon Brazile was seen rejoining his teammates on the bench as the SEC Network broadcast offered an update on his injury.

“More bad news for Arkansas: Trevon Brazile will not return to this game,” Tom Hart said. “We’re told the injury is not one that will be long-term, but perhaps more information coming postgame from Eric Musselman.”

A three-star recruit out of Parkview High School in Springfield, Missouri, Brazile committed to play for Missouri and started 23 games for the Tigers his true freshman season. He transferred to Arkansas in the offseason and has since taken on a bench role with the Razorbacks this season.

Despite coming off the bench, Brazile has still received plenty of playing time with 29.3 minutes per game. He has managed 13.3 points and 6.5 rebounds across eight games.
