Arkansas guard Boogie Fland has entered the NCAA transfer portal, On3 has learned. He did so after spending just one year with the Razorbacks and then declaring for the NBA Draft.

It was an up-and-down first campaign for the talented 6-foot-2 guard. He started 18 games, making 21 appearances total, but injuries cut into his season.

Still, Boogie Fland managed to finish the year averaging 13.5 points, 5.1 assists and 3.2 rebounds per game. He shot 34.0% from 3-point range on decent volume (106 attempts).

Fland originally announced his plans to enter the 2025 NBA Draft. He’ll go through some of the pre-draft process, while entering the transfer portal allows him to keep his options open at the college level should he return.

“Thank you to all my fans and supporters, this year has been nothing short of unforgettable,” Boogie Fland wrote on Instagram. “Returning to the team for March Madness and competing alongside my brothers was an experience I’ll cherish forever.

“Much love to Razorback Nation, Coach (John) Calipari and the entire coaching staff, and every one of my teammates for believing in me. To my family, especially my mom and dad, thank you for all of the sacrifices you’ve made for me to be in this position. I couldn’t have done it without you. With that being said, I’m officially declaring for the 2025 NBA Draft.”

Boogie Fland battled back from a season-ending hand injury suffered in mid-January to help the Razorbacks (22-14) in the 2025 NCAA Tournament but struggled in his return. Fland averaged just four points, two rebounds, 1.7 assists and 1.7 steals during Arkansas’ run to the Sweet 16.

Prior to enrolling at Arkansas, Boogie Fland was a four-star prospect, the No. 19 overall recruit and top-ranked point guard in the 2024 recruiting cycle out of Archbishop Stepinac (Harlam, NY), according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. Fland was also a McDonald’s All-American last year and participated in the Nike Hoop Summit and the Jordan Brand Classic.

On3’s Alex Byington also contributed to this report.
