Arkansas outfielder Kendall Diggs officially announces return for 2025 season
Arkansas outfielder Kendall Diggs officially announced on the Razorbacks Twitter page on Wednesday evening that he’ll be back for another year in Fayetteville. He’ll return to the Hogs for their 2025 campaign, ensuring that the program will have one of the nation’s best at his position.
“One last ride,” Diggs was quoted as saying in the announcement. Short. Sweet. And to the point. He went undrafted in the 2024 MLB Draft.
As a junior, Diggs played in 55 games, hitting seven home runs, 34 RBIs, 11 doubles, and one triple. He also finished fourth on the Razorbacks in RBIs and fifth in runs scored (35). Diggs managed to draw 34 walks, the third-most on the team. He also tallied 12 multi-hit games and eight multi-RBI games. As a defender, Diggs was one of the nation’s best, committing just two errors in 78 total chances (.974 fielding percentage).
He’s routinely made some of the best catches in college baseball over the years. And this season was no different, such as this leaping grab back in April. In 2023, he made this remarkable grab while sliding in the dirt, putting the catch as the No. 8 catch on SportsCenter’s Top 10 plays of the night.

In his sophomore year in 2023, Diggs played in 58 games with 57 of those being starts. He enjoyed a breakout campaign, hitting 12 home runs and a team-high 63 RBIs. Diggs finished with 51 runs, tied for the second most on the team. He also finished with the second most hits on the team (60), with 12 of those being doubles and one triple. He’s routinely made clutch plays for the Hogs over the years and in the 2023 NCAA Fayetteville Regional, Diggs blasted a two-run home run vs. Santa Clara (June 4th) to help the Hogs stave off elimination and advance to the regional championship.
As a freshman in 2022, he hit three home runs and finished with 14 RBIs. It didn’t take him long to deliver a big-time moment, when he launched a three-run walk-off home run in his first SEC start against Ole Miss. Diggs also got to see some action in the 2022 College World Series.
