Arkansas is entering an all-new era under John Calipari. Now, the Hogs have released their first video footage of what their upcoming team is looking like in practice.

The Razorbacks shared the 47-second-long clip on social media on Monday. It includes and features eight different players getting after it on the floor both in drills and scrimmages.

The video may be less than a minute long but it features everything that you’d be wanting to see so far in Fayetteville.

Adou Thiero, DJ Wagner, Boogie Fland, Johnell Davis, Karter Knox, Trevon Brazile, Jonas Aidoo, and Zvonimir Ivisic are all prominent in the clip. Whether they’re there or not, the ones that don’t get a clear look at are Billy Richmond, Lawson Blake, or Melo Sanchez, or Jaden Karuletwa.

The highlight sequence of the preview comes throughout the middle between both Thiero and Ivisic. In that span, Thiero catches a lob from Fland while Ivisic knocks down a corner three. However, the two also met at the summit twice with Ivisic blocking Thiero at the rim before Thiero throws one down on him in return.

The clips were so good that Arkansas shared them separately from the overall video earlier today. They were also worthy enough to get quite the reaction out of Knox.

There’s plenty for this new squad at Arkansas to work on as they all come together this summer. They all come with varying levels of experience, whether in college basketball or under Calipari, and connections with one another.

Six of the names came with Calipari from Kentucky with Wagner, Thiero, and Ivisic playing last year in Lexington and then Fland, Knox, and Richmond who were originally committed to the Wildcats. Davis (FAU) and Aidoo (Tennessee) join that transfer trio as Top-10 players in the portal to make up a Top-30 class. Brazile and Lawson are then left with their time in the Razorback program from under the last tenure with Eric Musselman.

It’s a whole new ball game for Arkansas right now with plenty to adjust to. Still, the excitement is clearly there for the Hogs, especially with clips like these beginning to circulate around the offseason.

Calipari praises Hunter Yurachek, new opportunity at Arkansas

John Calipari and Arkansas AD Hunter Yurachek are getting along excellently.

During an appearance on ‘The Pat McAfee Show’ last week, Calipari pulled back the curtain on his new relationship with Yurachek.

“He does an awesome job,” Calipari said. “He calls me four times a week in the morning, saying ‘What can I do to help?’ What!”

Calipari is also seemingly ecstatic with his new environment in Fayetteville.

“I want to do this one more time and this was the time to do it and Arkansas was the place,” Calipari said. “We’re in the SEC — unbelievable facilities. NIL’s not an issue. I don’t have to go do it myself. And you ready for this? I hired my son. Couldn’t do it at Kentucky. I hired my son. He’s on my staff. I’m helping all these coaches and all these players. How about I help my son?”
