Arkansas rises in On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings
Arkansas got a nice surprise on Monday. That is because Ocean Springs (Miss.) St. Martin four-star wide receiver Noreel White announced his commitment to the Razorbacks following a visit to Fayetteville.
Landing White elevated Arkansas’ 2024 recruiting class to No. 18 in the 2024 On3 Industry Team Recruiting Rankings. The Razorbacks’ group, which also ranks No. 10 in the SEC, rose four spots from No. 22.
White chose Arkansas over Florida State, LSU, Mississippi State and Ole Miss. The aforementioned programs were originally his top four before he added the Razorbacks.
Head coach Sam Pittman and his staff now have pledges from three players in the 2024 cycle. They are White, Leeds (Ala.) four-star defensive lineman Kavion Henderson and Memphis (Tenn.) Memphis University School three-star defensive lineman Dion Stutts.
It has been a big few days, as White and Stutts have each committed to Arkansas within the last 48 hours. Pittman is hoping to extended the Razorbacks’ success from last cycle, when they finished with a top-25 class and top-10 group in the SEC.
In Fayetteville, the 6-foot-0.5, 170-pound wideout built bonds with numerous coaches. Co-defensive coordinator Marcus Woodson is one of them.

“Coach Woodson is like my uncle almost,” White told On3’s Sam Spiegelman on Jan. 24. “We click every time and he’s also from where I’m from, so we click a little more than most (coaches).”
White is the No. 292 overall prospect and No. 48 wide receiver in the 2024 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies. He is also the No. 8 player in Mississippi.
Having White and Henderson in the fold gives Arkansas two top-300 recruits. Henderson committed to the Razorbacks in November over Alabama, Georgia and Florida State among others.
“I wanted to go somewhere and make an impact,” Henderson told On3’s Chad Simmons on Nov. 6. “They got a lot of great players there… They came through and I want to make a difference there at the EDGE position. I just want to make an impact and (I) see myself playing here along with some great players.”
