Arkansas WR Isaiah Sategna plans to enter NCAA Transfer Portal
Arkansas wide receiver Isaiah Sategna plans to enter the NCAA Transfer Portal, according to On3’s Hayes Fawcett. He hauled in 37 catches for 491 receiving yards this year. Sategna also tacked on an 88-yard punt return. He’ll have two years of eligibility remaining.
This season, he hauled in 37 catches for 491 receiving yards and a touchdown. As a runner, he had one carry for 15 yards. In 2023, Sategna hauled in 15 catches for 129 receiving yards and two touchdowns. As a runner, he had one carry for 28 rushing yards. In 2022, he had just two catches for 12 yards.
Sategna has demonstrated the ability to perform as one of the better kick returners in the country. In the 2023-2024 campaign, he tallied 837 all-purpose yards, including 500 yards on kick return. His season was good enough to land him third team All-SEC honors from Phil Steele. Sategna’s 23 kick returns are tied for sixth in a single season by a Razorback in program history. The 500 kick return yards also rank 10th in Arkansas program history.
When Sategna played his high school football, he played for former Arkansas QB Casey Dick at Fayetteville High School (Fayetteville, Arkansas). There he enjoyed a prolific career, hauling in 172 catches for 3,261 yards and 25 touchdowns during his career. As a senior, Sategna had 100 catches for a nation-leading 1,908 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns. He helped guide the Bulldogs to finish runner-up in the state championship that season. A dynamic track and field athlete, he also was rated as the No. 4 prospect in the country for the 2022 cycle, according to MileSplit.

He was also named as the 2021-2022 Gatorade Arkansas Boys Track and Field Player of the Year. When Sategna chose the Hogs, he chose them over Auburn, Baylor, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida State, Oregon, and others.
In the 2022 class, he was tabbed as a four-star prospect and the No. 138 overall player in America, according to the On3 Industry Rankings. He was also ranked as the No. 24 wideout in the country in his class.
