Boogie Fland lobs pass off backboard to Trevon Brazile in exhibition game
College basketball is right around the corner. And the Arkansas Razorbacks are taking part of an exhibition game with the Kansas Jayhawks on Friday night. They got to give Hog fans an early taste of what’s to come. Arkansas made one of the highlights of the night when Boogie Fland kissed one off the glass to Trevon Brazile, who was trailing, for the alley-oop.
Here’s the beautiful clip posted by Arkansas basketball’s Twitter account.
Boogie Fland looked impressive in the first half and even though it’s an exhibition, he drew plenty of praise from college basketball analysts across the country. He scored 14 points on five of eight shooting from the field, while also dishing out three assists, and grabbing three steals.
And sure, it’s only an exhibition, but Fland appears to be the real deal. Coming out of Archbishop Stepinac (Harlem, New York), he was ranked as the No. 1 point guard in America in the 2024 On3 Industry Rankings. Nationally, he was tabbed as the No. 18 overall prospect in the country. Fland was named both to the Jordan Brand Classic and a McDonald’s All-American.

Dajuan Harris, Jr. had 26 points for Kansas, leading them in scoring and by a significant margin. He drilled 11 of his 17 field goal attempts, connecting on four of five threes. Arkansas had 21 points off turnovers and that was a big part of why they won. The Hogs outscored the Jayhawks in all four quarters.
And it’s just an exhibition, but always nice to get an early look at the talent on both rosters before the 2024-2025 season. Arkansas will have yet another charity exhibition match with TCU on Friday, November 1st. Their season will officially get underway on Wednesday, Nov. 6, when they face Lipscomb.
