Three-star quarterback KJ Jackson of Montgomery (AL) St. James School announced his commitment to Arkansas Sunday evening.

The 6-foot-4, 217 pounder chose the Razorbacks over North Carolina.

Jackson on why he chose Arkansas

“The family feel of the school in general. Coach Pitt has done a great job of leading his program. You can tell he cares about each one of his players and wants the best for them. The fan base is amazing and very supportive and active. I’m honored to be able to be a part of the Arkansas family. Another huge thing is going to be able to play under coach Enos. He has 13 QBs in the NFL and that is my Ultimate Goal. I am 100% confident that if I listen to him and do what he says to the best of my ability I will be able to accomplish everything I want to at Arkansas.”

Relationship with coaching staff + their plan for Jackson

“The whole staff at Arkansas is great. I’ve enjoyed getting to know everyone up there. I’m the closest with Coach Enos. We’ve had some form of communication everyday for the past 2 months and that was important to me. We talked about me coming in with KJ Jefferson graduating, and the fact that I will have an opportunity to prove myself early on. I am up for the challenge and ready to get to work with him day 1 when I step on campus.”

What Arkansas is getting in KJ Jackson

“Arkansas is getting a Leader that is willing to fight for everyone beside him. A hard working person that wants nothing else than to succeed.”
