Four-star 2026 EDGE Colton Yarbrough commits to Arkansas
Durant (Okla.) High On3 Industry four-star edge Colton Yarbrough announced his commitment to Arkansas on Saturday afternoon.
The 6-foot-5, 210-pound Yarbrough becomes commit No. 3 for head coach Sam Pittman and his staff in the 2026 cycle.
Yarbrough chose the Razorbacks over his other finalists in Colorado, LSU, Oklahoma State and Georgia. He was on campus two weekends ago.
“It’s a great place with wonderful fans and coaches,” Yarbrough told On3. “They’re not afraid to show their love for God and they keep it real.”
Arkansas poured into recruiting Yarbrough
Holding close to 20 scholarship opportunities, Arkansas was the second program to offer three years ago.
“They produce at the edge position especially right now with Landon Jackson,” Yarbrough said.
Deke Adams has been the lead recruiter in pursuing Yarbrough.
“Coach Adams offered me as an eighth grader and have been consistent in every step of the way.
“They’ve been recruiting me basically three years and haven’t changed.”
Yarbrough joins safety Tay Lockett and quarterback Jayvon Gilmore as early commits.
“I wanna focus on football and season and really lock in,” Yarbrough said of why he chose to commit now.

Scouting report on Yarbrough
Yarbrough’s trainer Sean Cooper, the founder of C4Sports Oklahoma is excited about the upside Yarbrough will bring to Fayetteville.
“I love his work ethic, humility, ability to be coached and just like the rest of the country his size,” Cooper said. “At a verified 6’6 at Arkansas last week. 82-inch wing span, jumped a 34 inch vertical 9-1 broad jump at 241 pounds last week at Georgia and ran anchor leg on sprint relay as a freshman.
“So that combo of size, speed, length and athleticism sets him up to be able to continue to grow into a Landon Jackson type guy in the SEC, and I personally love that he’s been with me since fifth grade and has trusted the process to the T and never changed which shows who he is as a kid.”
