Former Hawaii place kicker Matthew Shipley has committed to Arkansas, via the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Shipley spent four seasons with the Rainbow Warriors, recording 48 appearances. In the 2023 campaign, Shipley connected on 14-of-his-18 field goal attempts. His longest made field goal this season was from a career-high 51 yards.

In his four seasons at Hawaii, Shipley amassed 56 made field goals on 81 attempts. Shipley has only had two field goal attempts blocked in his career. Shipley can also do more than put it through the uprights.

Shipley was Hawaii’s starting punter in his last three years with the program. He punted 178 times for 7,217 yards, averaging 40.5 yards per punt.

Shipley played high school football at Liberty Hill (TX), where he was a three-star prospect. He was the No. 2,689 overall recruit in the 2020 cycle, according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.
