Hudson Clark addresses the challenges of changing positions
Arkansas defensive back Hudson Clark has been busy dealing with the adjustment of moving from cornerback to safety for the Razorbacks. Over the years, he has transformed himself into one of the most dependable members of the Hogs’ secondary, just a few years after walking onto the team under Chad Morris. Recently, Clark spoke with reporters in his press conference about the challenges of switching from corner to safety.
“You know it’s pretty….at first it was a little different view since you’re in the middle of the field….Coach [Barry] Odom…Coach [Dominique] Bowman. They really helped me get in the film room and kind of see the play first there and when it comes on the field, it’s easy. So, I think that’s kind of a big [thing] that’s helping me [with the transition] is the film room. So, whenever we get in practice, we get those repetitions. It builds instincts,” Clark said.
