Arkansas has added an offensive playmaker out of the NCAA Transfer Portal. Former Montana State tight end Rohan Jones has signed with the Razorbacks.

Jones is heading to Arkansas after having a highly productive season for the Bobcats in 2024. He finished the year with 30 receptions for 470 yards and nine touchdowns, helping Montana State reach the FCS national championship game.

Rohan Jones started his college football career at Maine, before transferring to Montana State ahead of the 2024 season. He caught 22 passes for 240 yards and five touchdowns in 2023, after also contributing for the Black Bears in 2022.

Now he is heading to the SEC to play for an Arkansas program that is coming off of a 7-6 season. The Razorbacks did end the year on a high note, beating Texas Tech 39-26 in the Liberty Bowl.

Auburn transfer DB Caleb Wooden commits to Arkansas

In addition to Rohan Jones, Arkansas also recently landed a commitment from defensive back Caleb Wooden out of the NCAA Transfer Portal.

Wooden is transferring in from Auburn. He spent the past three seasons playing with the Tigers and brings one year of eligibility with him to Fayetteville.

Wooden recorded 17 tackles, one interception and one pass defended this past season. He ended his career at Auburn with 41 tackles (5.5 for loss), one sack, two interceptions, one forced fumble and four passes defended.

As a recruit, Wooden was a three-star prospect out of Archer High School in Lawrenceville, Georgia, in 2022. He ranked as the No. 905 overall player and No. 78 safety in the cycle according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Wooden appeared in 28 total games across his three seasons with the Tigers and made nine starts. He’ll hope to finish out his college career on a high note with a Razorbacks team coming off of a 7-6 finish.

Wooden is also the No. 653 overall player and No. 53 safety according to On3’s Transfer Portal Rankings. He is the 19th player that Arkansas has brought in through the transfer portal so far, having also lost 30.
