Ole Miss transfer OT Kavion Broussard commits to Arkansas

OT Kavion Broussard has committed to Arkansas out of the NCAA Transfer Portal.

On3’s Pete Nakos reported Broussard’s commitment to the ‘Hogs on Monday per his representation. In the end, he chose the Razorbacks over Vanderbilt while there was also portal interest in him from schools like Miami.

Broussard just finished his lone season as a true freshman at Ole Miss. He did not appear while in The ‘Sip, though, with four years of collegiate eligibility set for him to use.

Broussard, a Zachary, Louisiana native, was the No. 668 overall recruit as a three-star prospect in the 2024 cycle. He rated as a Top-20 player out of the state and a Top-50 OT in the class. That’s according to the On3 Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all four major recruiting media companies.

Per the latest in On3’s 2025 Top Transfer Portal Players, Broussard was then the No. 44 OT and the No. 606 overall transfer.

Broussard is actually the fourth transfer transaction between these two programs specifically. He is the first addition for Arkansas while Ole Miss has added TE Luke Hasz, IOL Patrick Kutas, and CB Jaylon Braxton.

In total, Broussard is now the dozenth pickup in the portal this cycle for the Razorbacks. They’ve also gotten commitments and signatures from CBs Kani Walker (Oklahoma) and Jordan Young (Cincinnati), WRs Raylen Sharpe (Fresno State) and Kam Shanks (UAB), DEs Ken Talley (Michigan State) and Justus Boone (Florida), TE Jaden Platt (Texas A&M), IOL Caden Kitler (UCF), and DL David Oke (Abilene Christian). He’s also their third offensive tackle along with Corey Robinson II (Georgia Tech) and Jac’Qawn McRoy (Oregon) with them both rated in the Top-15 OTs currently for On3.
