Sam Pittman previews facing former players Greg Brooks, Joe Foucha
The last time Arkansas coach Sam Pittman saw Greg Brooks and Joe Foucha playing football, they were wearing Razorbacks jerseys. However, Pittman and the Hogs host the LSU this Saturday, both Brooks and will be in Tigers uniforms.
The two players transferred to LSU this offseason, where they have been key contributors in the secondary. Now as they prepare to head back to Fayetteville to face their former team, Pittman had nothing but nice things to say about both and what they contributed in their time as Razorbacks.
“They did everything they possibly could for Arkansas and I’m glad they’re both playing and having success at LSU,” Pittman said. “It will be, obviously, different because last time I saw ’em on the field was for us versus Penn State. But they’re doing well, they’re playing well and it seems to have worked out for them.”

Arkansas, on the other hand, has struggled despite entering Pittman’s third season with the highest expectations it has had in years. Quarterback KJ Jefferson has been dealing with injuries, which could be an issue against a Tigers secondary that features two players who know his tendencies all too well.
The Razorbacks secondary has struggled without Brooks and Foucha this season, though injuries have also played a part. Arkansas ranks just 13th in the SEC in passing yards allowed per game with 302.1, and it will be interesting to see whether they can overcome that Saturday against the Tigers.
The Razorbacks and Tigers will kick off at 11 a.m. CT on Saturday in Fayetteville.
